Why Tech in Yoruba exists
Anyone can learn tech. Tech in Yoruba exists so language is never the barrier between people and opportunity.
I started Tech in Yoruba because I believe anyone can learn tech — and mother-tongue learning removes a barrier that too many people still face.
When we teach digital skills in Yoruba, we do more than translate vocabulary. We make concepts feel familiar, reduce intimidation, and invite more people into the technology community.
That conviction also shapes my work in the WordPress community as Locale Manager for WordPress Yoruba translations and as organizer of the Ilesa WordPress Meetup.
