About
Hi, I’m Theophilus Adegbohungbe
Founder of Tech in Yoruba. Senior website developer. WordPress community leader.
I’m the founder of Tech in Yoruba (TIYC), a community that helps people learn tech skills in Yoruba language. The official community website is techinyoruba.org. I’m also a senior website developer with over 12 years of experience building result-driven, scalable, and user-friendly web solutions.
I’ve worked with well-known organizations like Bank of Industry, Dragnet Solutions, and many fast-growing startups in Nigeria and other countries.
I’m passionate about teaching and giving back to the community. That conviction led me to start Tech in Yoruba — and it continues to shape how I show up in the WordPress community and at tech events.
I was featured and invited for an interview by the BBC in Lagos about Tech in Yoruba and mother-tongue tech education.
I also serve where digital skills meet community health: in 2025 I was engaged by the Justice, Development and Peace Makers’ Centre (JDPMC), with support from PEPFAR, as a social media influencer promoting HIV/AIDS services for adolescents and young people.
WordPress community roles

What I believe
I love attending tech events, meetups, and hackathons to meet new people, learn new things, and share knowledge. At the end of the day, I believe anyone can learn tech — and I’m here to support and guide others as they grow in this field.
Let’s connect and build great things together.
